1. Platform Usage

1.1 Eligibility. CraftLink is a business-to-business (B2B) marketplace. Access is limited to legally registered businesses. By registering, you confirm that you are acting on behalf of a registered legal entity and are authorised to bind that entity to these Terms.

1.2 Permitted use. You may use CraftLink to discover, evaluate, and purchase craft beverages for commercial purposes. Resale to consumers is permitted only where you hold the appropriate retail licence in your jurisdiction. Personal/consumer use is not permitted.

1.3 Account security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@craftlink.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. CraftLink is not liable for losses resulting from your failure to secure your credentials.

1.4 Prohibited conduct. You may not use CraftLink to: (a) post false or misleading information; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system; (c) circumvent any platform security measure; (d) engage in price manipulation or coordinated purchasing activities that distort market pricing.

2. Buyer Obligations

2.1 Licence compliance. Buyers are solely responsible for ensuring they hold all licences and permits required by their local, state/provincial, and national laws to purchase, import, and resell alcoholic beverages. CraftLink does not verify buyer licences and bears no liability for unlicensed purchases.

2.2 Accurate information. You must provide accurate business information during registration and keep it up to date. Providing false tax IDs or business details is grounds for immediate account suspension.

2.3 Payment. All orders are subject to the payment terms agreed between you and the producer at the time of purchase. CraftLink currently facilitates introductions and order placement; payment is processed directly with the producer unless otherwise stated.

2.4 Minimum orders. Buyers must respect minimum order quantities (MOQs) as displayed on each product listing. CraftLink reserves the right to cancel orders that do not meet the specified MOQ.

3. Producer Obligations

3.1 Accurate listings. Producers must ensure all product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and availability information are accurate and kept up to date. CraftLink reserves the right to remove listings that are materially misleading.

3.2 Fulfilment. Producers are responsible for fulfilling confirmed orders within the lead times stated in their listings or communicated to the buyer at the time of order confirmation. Repeated failures to fulfil may result in listing suspension.

3.3 Regulatory compliance. Producers must hold all required production, labelling, and export licences for the markets in which they list products. CraftLink does not verify producer licences and bears no liability for non-compliant products.

4. Limitation of Liability

4.1 Platform role. CraftLink is a marketplace platform facilitating connections between producers and buyers. CraftLink is not a party to any transaction between producers and buyers, except where explicitly stated.

4.2 No warranty. The platform is provided "as is". CraftLink makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy of product listings, the fitness of products for any particular purpose, or the uninterrupted availability of the platform.

4.3 Limitation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CraftLink's total liability to any party shall not exceed the total fees paid by that party to CraftLink in the 12 months preceding the claim. CraftLink is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages of any kind.

4.4 Disputes between buyers and producers. CraftLink will make reasonable efforts to mediate disputes but is under no obligation to do so. Buyers and producers agree to use good faith to resolve disputes directly before escalating to legal action.

5. Governing Law & Changes

5.1 Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which CraftLink is incorporated. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.

5.2 Changes to Terms. CraftLink reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users by email of any material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
